Description: St. Georges Cathedral Summer Concerts continue on Thursday August 2 from 12:15pm to 12:50pm with New York violist Nora Krohn and Toronto pianist Tracy Stuchbery performing music by J.S. Bach, Rebecca Clarke, and Kenji Bunch. The concerts continue every Thursday through August 30. Admission is free, with a freewill offering collected. The Cathedral is at 270 King St. E. Krohn is Principal Violist of the Bridgeport Symphony, Assistant Principal of the Ridgefield Symphony, section member of the Greenwich Symphony, and a former tenured member of the Binghamton Philharmonic. Stuchberys career encompasses both solo and collaborative work as pianist, singer, choral director, educator, church musician and arts administrator. She is currently the music director for St. Philips Anglican Church, Etobicoke and is gradually rebuilding her piano studio after making the big cross-country move from BC to Ontario.

Description: Curious about Ship Wrecks? So are we! Discover how 23 wrecks create the Back Bay ship graveyard on a guided paddle around Garden Island. The Marine Museum of the Great Lakes at Kingston, in partnership with the Wolfe Island Boat Club, is excited to offer the paid public tour ($30 per person) of the shipwrecks that surround Garden Island on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018, 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Meet us at the Wolfe Island Boat Club (1234 Main St. Wolfe Island) catching the 6:00 Wolfe Islander III Ferry, to suit up for a two hour paddle. Your tour guide captain will share stories of local Kingston wrecks, and the fascinating past of Garden Island, once the home to a shipping empire. After the tour we encourage you to grab a drink at the General Wolfe Inn Patio for the full GET WRECKED experience.
